Rune Working Companion Bindrune Sets
These sets grew out of a much larger question: how do we work with the runes without reducing them to a list of modern keywords or turning them into lucky charms?
Each Rune Working begins with two or three Elder Futhark runes chosen for a specific contemporary purpose. I begin with what we know about the individual runes, their reconstructed names, historical context, later rune-poem traditions, and the places where the evidence becomes less certain. From there, I bring those runes together into a working interpretation for something people are actually navigating today, such as courage, self-worth, companionship, prosperity, discernment, safe travel, or finding a way through an obstacle.
For each of those workings, I then create my own bindrune from the individual runes. The small wooden pieces are shaped and softened by hand so they feel worn rather than factory-perfect, the finished bindrunes are burned into the wood by hand, and each set is ritually prepared and consecrated within my own practice before it leaves me.
These are companion pieces to the work, not substitutes for it.
Every bindrune corresponds directly to a full teaching on the Working With the Runes section of Voice of Seiðr. There you can learn which individual runes were used, why I chose them, where the historical foundation ends and my contemporary interpretation begins, how to establish a clear intention, how offering and reciprocity belong within the work, and how to recognize when a particular working has reached its mark.
You can work directly with the teachings without owning these pieces. You can write the runes yourself, carve them, create your own bindrune, or work with the individual runes in another way. These sets are for those who would like that intention already brought together into a physical working object, made and prepared by hand, that can be carried with you as the work unfolds.

• Hand-finished wood with softened, aged edges and a shallow concave surface that rests naturally beneath the thumb
• A small cloth or burlap storage bag

• The finished set ritually prepared and consecrated before it leaves my hands
Working With Your Set
Each piece is intended to accompany one defined working at a time. Begin by visiting the corresponding teaching, learn the runes involved, establish the intention with a recognizable end in mind, make your offering, then carry or keep the bindrune with you while you participate in the work.
When that particular intention reaches its mark, give thanks and close the working. The piece may be cleansed through smoke and returned to its bag, bowl, altar, or wherever you keep your working tools. Completing one intention does not use the bindrune up. It can be worked with again later when a new intention calls for the same kind of work.
A Note About Historical Practice
These are contemporary bindrunes created from Elder Futhark runes. I do not claim that these particular combinations were historically used for self-worth, prosperity, relationship repair, or any of the other purposes represented here. The individual rune meanings and traditions form the historical foundation, while the bindrune constructions and contemporary working interpretations are my own.
