What I make here grows out of the same work I teach and write about, only this is the part that happens with my hands. Wood is burned, sanded, smoked, and waxed. Copper is bent, hammered, wrapped, and aged. Bone, stone, fur, herbs, glass, iron, and found materials become altar pieces, ritual tools, and things meant to be worn or carried. Some pieces begin with an older idea I want to understand more deeply. Others begin with the material itself and take shape from there. Most are made in small batches or one at a time, and each carries the marks of being made by hand.
ALTAR CHARMS
Pieces created for altar work, ancestor veneration, devotion, protection, remembrance, and the tending of sacred space.
RITUAL ITEMS
Working bowls, vé rings, vessels, incense pieces, and other objects made to take an active place in ritual and spiritual practice.
WEARABLE RITUAL ART
Bone, fossil, stone, copper, leather, glass, and found materials shaped into pieces meant to be worn and carried.
APPAREL
Clothing and designs rooted in Norse worldview, Seiðr, history, culture, and the language that has grown around this work.
Small-batch balms, salves, and herbal preparations made from plants I study, use, and bring into my own practice. Some are rooted in older traditions, while others grow from the work itself.
